Turks to Meet in Indiana for World Basketball Championship
TACA-Chicago has tickets for August 29, 30, 31 games
Turks from Turkey and the Turkish-Americans living in the United States will be converging on Indianapolis this month to root for the Turkish team competing in the World Basketball Championship. The Turkish team will play Puerto Rico on August 29th, Brazil on August 30th, and Lebanon on August 31st. The championship will last 11 days, hosting the national basketball teams of 16 nations.

Tickets and jerseys from TACA
TACA-Chicago (Turkish-American Cultural Alliance) is selling discounted match tickets for August 29, 30, 31 games, as well as Original Turkish national team Jerseys directly from the Turkish Basketball Federation. They will take the orders for jerseys now, and the Basketball Federation will bring them with them to be distributed in Indianapolis. The Turkish-American Cultural Alliance-Chicago has made special arrangements with the World Basketball Championship organizers to offer our fans a 25% discount off the regular price.

Normal Ticket Prices are : $58.00 , $44.00 and $26.00
TACA prices: $43.00 (Golden), $33.00 (Silver) and $20.00 (Bronze)

They are also working directly with the Turkish Basketball Federation and taking orders for the original Turkish National team jersey. All proceeds from the jersey sales go to the Turkish Basketball Federation.

Adult prices and sizes are: XL, L, M ($20.00)
Kids sizes:S and XS ($17.00)

Please note that there will be festivities, concerts and several events to promote Turkey and entertain the crowds in Indianapolis. Some of the singers mentioned in newspapers are Sertap Erener, MFO, Athena among others. The newspaper also mentioned that "The Sultans of the Dance" might perform as well.
