U.S. Congressional Armenian Caucus Gains 4 New Members
111 members of U.S. Congress defend the "Armenian cause"
The Turkish Times - According to Armenian sources in Washington DC, U.S. Congressmen James Barcia (D-MI), Vernon Ehlers (R-MI), George Miller (D-CA) and Fred Upton (R-MI) have joined the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues, bringing the number of U.S. Congressmen defending the "Armenian cause" to an all-time high of 111. According to sources close to the Armenian Assembly of America, the Armenian Assembly Executive Director John Jamian (a former politician from Michigan) and Assembly Government Relations Director Bryan Ardouny have held meetings with Members of the U.S. Congress and their staffers, urging them to join the Caucus.

"We welcome our four colleagues and are pleased that the Caucus has now reached 111 members, which is a very significant size and as such, a strong voice for Armenian-American issues," said Co-Chairs Joe Knollenberg (R-MI) and Frank Pallone (D-NJ). "Being from Michigan, I am also pleased to see three fellow Michigan colleagues as members," Knollen-berg added.
